Child soldiers’ traumas
Septiembre 25, 2007
Hey!
As you know there are many child soldiers around trhe world, specially in African and Asian conflict countries.
Being a child soldier, brings lots of traumas to kids who are released from “service” and it is really hard for them to overcome this traumas. Not only because they are made to kill other people, but because they see how their families are killed and tortured and they don’t get to make a choice about their future.
Also once they are made child soldiers, it isn’t likely that they will sometime have a normal life. This article I found, is about a guy who once was a child soldier and now can talk about his life but is still haunted by the experiences he had.
Hope it helps!!!
Dani
