Cuban legislators call the blockade a “genocidal movement”
The blockade against Cuba has been termed by the President of the Cuban Parliament, Ricardo Alarcón, as genocide against the people of Cuba.
In the midst of passionate debates, both against and in favor of the blockade imposed by the United States of America con Cuban economy more than 50 years ago, the Cuban Parliament issued several different declarations, all condemning the blockade which, they hope, together with the diplomatic work in the U.N., will force the US to end this devastating blockade for the Cuban economy.
